jOB DESCRIPTION

The role in the Fishery and Aquaculture Industries involves the cultivation, management, and harvesting of aquatic species such as fish, shellfish, and other marine life for commercial purposes. Key responsibilities include overseeing the breeding, feeding, and health of aquatic animals, maintaining water quality, and ensuring optimal conditions for growth. The role also involves managing fish farms or hatcheries, monitoring stock levels, and implementing sustainable fishing practices. Candidates must adhere to environmental and safety regulations, monitor equipment, and ensure the proper use of resources. This position requires knowledge of marine biology, aquaculture techniques, and fishery management. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in diverse and often outdoor environments are essential. Experience in managing aquatic systems, as well as familiarity with industry standards and environmental guidelines, is highly beneficial.

Preferred qualifications

  • With a valid Philippine Passport (at least 3 years);
  • Motivated to work in Japan for at least 3-5 years;
  • Mentally, emotionally and physically fit;
  • With 1-year work experience on the job applying for;
  • Willing to undergo Nihongo Basic Language Training for at least 320 hours;
  • If with Tattoo/s (employer’s discretion); and
  • Complete documentary requirements.
