Farmer (Upland Field Cropping / Vegetable Growing)
jOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for cultivating crops in open fields, such as grains, vegetables, and legumes. This involves soil preparation, seeding, watering, and pest management. The farmer ensures soil fertility through crop rotation and cover cropping, and monitors environmental conditions to optimize yields. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the harvesting, storage, and sometimes direct marketing of crops. The role also involves addressing challenges such as weather variability and pest outbreaks.
Preferred qualifications
With a valid Philippine Passport (at least 3 years);
Motivated to work in Japan for at least 3-5 years;
Mentally, emotionally and physically fit;
With 1-year work experience on the job applying for;
Willing to undergo Nihongo Basic Language Training for at least 320 hours;
If with Tattoo/s (employer’s discretion); and
Complete documentary requirements.
